DVCII - Senior Capstone Project

For my Senior Capstone Show, I created a personal manifesto and paired it with a visual artifact that embodied its spirit: a custom-designed tarot card deck. Tarot, with its symbolism of life lessons and archetypal themes, served as the perfect medium to express guiding principles I live by. Each of the 22 cards features a unique line from my manifesto, brought to life through one-color illustrations—black ink on gold glitter paper. The reflective quality of the paper was intentional, designed to illuminate the artwork and metaphorically “shed light” on my identity, values, and beliefs.
